The best concert ever

 

Dry Cleaning

On the 17th of May, 2023, something truly magical happened at Club Subterraneo here in Chile. It was a night I had been eagerly awaiting as I finally got to see the incredible band Dry Cleaning live in concert. If you haven't heard of them yet, let me tell you a little bit about this fantastic group.

Dry Cleaning is a London-based post-punk band known for their distinctive and poetic lyrics, delivered with the deadpan charm of lead singer Florence Shaw. Their music is a unique blend of indie rock and spoken word, creating a sound that's both hypnotic and thought-provoking.

The atmosphere at the event was nothing short of amazing. Not only was this the first time I had seen Dry Cleaning live, it was also the first time they had performed in Chile. The anticipation in the air was electric and you could feel the excitement emanating from the audience.

As I stood in the crowd, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with emotion. There's something very special about seeing your favourite band live, surrounded by a sea of equally enthusiastic fans. The energy in the room was infectious and I found myself lost in the music.

Seeing Dry Cleaning perform my favourite songs live was a dream come true. Their music took on a whole new dimension on that stage and I was completely captivated. It was a night filled with joy, emotion and the pure magic of live music. I will cherish this experience forever and can't wait for the next opportunity to see them perform again.
